Keyway Dominator

Larry is one of Australian Basketball’s all-time greats. He and his brothers Rod and Geoff all played for Lang Park.

Larry competed in four consecutive Olympic Games between 1980 and 1992 and in four World Championship campaigns. He was part of five NBL Championship teams and was named as the Grand Final MVP in the inaugural Championship game in 1979. The NBL Grand Final MVP Award has since been named in his honour.

Recognised for his integrity and sportsmanship he was inducted into the NBL Hall of Fame in 2001 and the Basketball Australia Hall of Fame in 2006 and was elected CEO of Basketball Australia in 2009.

The Larry Sengstock award recognises the Club's keyway dominator, where Larry played his greatest basketball.
