Bronwyn was an exceptional Lang Park junior coached by Pam Hamilton-Smith. She was scholarshiped to the Australian Institute of Sport, and thankfully returned home to Brisbane.

Bronwyn is a WNBL veteran of 121 games for the Brisbane Blazers and represented Australia as an Opals player between 1982 and 1987. in this period Bronwyn represented Australia at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and at the 1983 and 1986 world championships in Brazil and the Soviet Union.

Bronwyn has a decorated coaching history and is a former Board Member of Basketball Queensland and the Basketball Australia High Performance Commission.
